Our History

We have a rich history. For over 30 years we have been dedicated to meeting all your printing needs in north Idaho and the greater Spokane area. We combine technological innovation with traditional craftsmanship gleaned from a lifetime of experience to produce top quality results.

Beginnings

On July 15, 1986 Loren and Sue Cook purchased Blackwell’s Reminder Printing Company in downtown Kellogg, Idaho.

They changed the name of the shop to Progressive Printing at that time.

A Family Business

After several years at that location, Loren’s brother, Lyle, came to work for him. The brothers are second-generation printers. Their father owned Dressel Print Shop in Vallejo, California for 20 years, so they grew up in the business. A third brother owns a print shop in Kansas.

Expansion

In 1998 Loren expanded the business by adding another location. He purchased another existing print shop, Conti Graphics, in Post Falls, Idaho about 40 miles from Kellogg.

In 2002, the production equipment was moved to a larger facility in Post Falls, which is our present location. It is easily accessible from Interstate 90.

The company expanded to a third location in 2003 with the purchase of Twin Lakes Print Company in Rathdrum, Idaho. That location was merged with our Post Falls shop in the summer of 2017.

We have recently re-branded as ProPrint. However, our commitment professional, friendly service and quality workmanship remains unchanged.

We are grateful to all our friends and loyal customers for your business over the past three decades.
