Q. What are your hours?
A. We are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Q. Can you print __________?
A. The answer is almost always yes. We are a full-service print shop with the capability to produce a wide variety of printed materials including, but not limited to:

  • business cardscards

  • black-and-white copies
  • color copies
  • signs
  • and much more
Q. How long will it take for you to complete my order?

A. Every job is different. We can produce some jobs in minutes, while some may take several days to complete. Let us know when you need your job completed and we’ll let you know if it can be done.

Q. Can I e-mail my job to you?
A.  Yes.  We gladly accept e-mailed files, just be sure to include contact information in your e-mail so we can reach you if we have any questions.  Click here to send file online.

Q. What is the minimum quantity I can order?
A.  One.  We have a wide array of equipment designed to meet all of your needs, from one copy to several thousand.

Q. What is the best file format for submitting a document for printing?

A. We generally prefer PDF (Portable Document Format) for submitting a document for printing because it works with virtually all professional printing and digital output devices. However, most other file formats such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Word are easily converted to PDF format. By design, a PDF file incorporates the information needed to maintain document consistency from system to system.

Q. What is a proof and why is it needed?

A. A proof is a one-off copy of your printed document used for visual inspection to ensure that the layout and colors of your document are exactly how they are intended to be. Our pre-press team will provide a proof prior to sending the document to the press for final printing. Your approval on the final proof is the best assurance you have that every aspect of our work and your own is correct, and that everything reads and appears the way you intended. Mistakes can and sometimes do happen, and it benefits everyone if errors are caught in the proofing process rather than after the job is completed and delivered.

Q. I am not very familiar with the printing process, how do I know what type of paper, size, colors, etc. is best for my job?
A.  Our professionals can assist you in every step of the printing process.  Each job has different requirements based on your objectives. Q. I have heard a lot about digital printing, which is better digital or traditional offset printing, and how do I know which one to choose?
A.  At ProPrint, we have the unique ability to offer both services.  There are many advantages to both types of printing, and we will ensure your job is produced in the most efficient manner possible based on your needs.

Q. What does “with bleed” mean?
A. “With bleed” is a printing term that means “printed to the edge of the paper.” Click here for definitions to more printing terms.
